Flexi-Paws HA is a liquid hyaluronic acid supplement for dogs and cats from EAC Animal Care, an Australian-owned animal supplement company. It was previously sold as In-Fusion HA. Because it is a liquid, it is measured and poured over food rather than given as a chew or tablet.

The active ingredient is sodium hyaluronate, a form of hyaluronic acid, at 100mg per 15mL. EAC describes it as high molecular weight, at 1 to 1.25 million daltons, and produced through microbial fermentation. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body. The liquid is flavoured with natural apple.

EAC's directions are a daily dose mixed through or added on top of the meal, with a higher loading dose for the first 7 to 10 days followed by a lower maintenance dose, both set by your dog's weight in the guide below. EAC suggests it can be used alongside its Flexi-Paws MSM, In-Sideout and Shine & Glide products.

Composition

Feeding guide

Mix through or add on top of daily feed. Give the loading dose once daily for 7 to 10 days, then the maintenance dose.

• 1–5kg: maintenance 1.25mL; loading 2.5mL
• 5–15kg: maintenance 2.5mL; loading 3.75mL
• 15–30kg: maintenance 3.75mL; loading 5.0mL
• Over 30kg: maintenance 5.0mL; loading 7.5mL
