The Jumbuk Swag is a low-profile wool dog mattress from MiniJumbuk, the Australian wool bedding maker. It is flat rather than bolstered, so it suits dogs that sprawl as well as dogs that curl up, and it is slim enough to sit in a crate, on a car seat or on a verandah.

The top is MiniJumbuk's Luxe Fleece, a blend of Australian wool and polyester; the reverse is a water-resistant furnishing fabric for use outdoors or in the car. Inside, a channelled calico insert holds MiniJumbuk's fill of recycled Australian wool, recycled crumbed foam and poly fibre. The channels stop the fill bunching at one end, and the insert can be topped up with more fill over time.

The cover unzips and goes in the machine on a gentle, warm (40°C) wool cycle with a wool-friendly detergent. MiniJumbuk recommends regular airing so it needs washing less often. The Swag is made in Naracoorte, South Australia, and carries a 2-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
