GREENIES Original are green chew treats made in four sizes, so the treat matches the size of the dog. The pack directions are one treat a day, chosen by your dog's weight.

The treats were developed by a team of vets, nutritionists and scientists at the Waltham Petcare Science Institute. They have a chewy, flexible texture that lets a dog's teeth sink in without the treat crumbling, and are made from highly digestible ingredients with added vitamins and minerals. The green colour comes from chlorophyll.

Choosing the right size matters: a treat that is too small will not be chewed properly, and one that is too large adds unneeded calories. Use the weight guide below. Each GREENIES treat counts towards your dog's daily food, so reduce the main meal slightly to allow for it. "Dental" is part of the manufacturer's product name, not a claim made by The Doggie Shop.

Feeding guide

Feed one GREENIES treat per day, choosing the size for your dog's weight. Not suitable for dogs under 6 months of age. As with any edible product, monitor your dog to ensure the treat is adequately chewed; gulping any item can be harmful or even fatal to a dog. Always provide fresh drinking water.
